An opportunity has arisen to help out the Adult Learning (previously Community Education) on Long Street, Atherstone, with doing some weeding outside their offices.

The project will be about three times a year and the hours and times are flexible. There's enough work to take one person about a day or a group of people a few hours.

They will be funding the project and we will be able to provide vouchers for the volunteers who help out.

Starting Monday 21^st July, there will be an entire week of Volunteer Projects ranging from landscaping to arts and crafts. All people aged 16-25 are welcome, whether first time volunteers or those who have already done projects in the past. The events taking place will be in various locations from day to day and mostly run from 10am-4pm (Wednesday 23^rd July runs from 4pm-6pm). Here is a list of what's coming up;

Monday 21^st July Gardening Project in Hurly - 10am-4pm 

reVOLve volunteer Vicky Fowler has been awarded nearly £2000 of vcashpoint money to put on a concert with a difference.

The seventeen year old, and her team, called the Senses Performance Group are now busy organising the massive event which aims to raise the awareness of human rights.

It will be held at the Bedworth Civic Hall on 11th September.

We are the new vinvolved project for Nuneaton and North Warwickshire.

We are manged by North Warwickshire council for Voluntary Service based in Atherstone, and funded by v.

Our aim is to get as many young people aged between 16 - 25 volunteering over the next three years.

reVOLve youth volunteers replaced the Millennium Volunteers project which finished in March 2008. reVOLve offers an exciting programme of fun volunteering projects for young people to get involved in.

Every young person who takes part in voluntary activity will recieve a nationally recognised certificate.
